NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY TALK WITH PÉJÚ OSHIN

To celebrate the National Portrait Gallery's acquisition of her portrait of community campaigners, Eric and Jessica Huntley, Sharon will be in conversation with Associate Director of Gagosian, curator, lecturer and writer Péjú Oshin at the Gallery on 29th November 2024 19:00-20:00.

The evening is an opportunity to discuss the importance of the portrait, and how it was developed for the National Portrait Gallery’s Citizen UK project. Through the conversation we will also discuss how the piece thematically links to Sharon’s wider work, style and influences. Sharon says : ‘It truly feels like a full circle moment creating this work as I was fortunate enough to attend Eric and Jessica's Saturday supplementary school as a child.’

Sharon and Péjú really hope you will join them on this very special night.
