LIBERTY LONDON EXHIBITION AND PANEL DISCUSSION

In early October 2024, Sharon was a panelist at Liberty London, which afterwards saw the unveiling of a new exhibition entitled Reclaimed Narratives, which she was proudly part of. The new show, celebrating Black History month, took place at Liberty throughout October 2024. Alongside the first floor exhibition, an additional curation of textile designer Althea McNish's work was showcased on the third floor.

During the panel discussion Sharon enjoyed talking about her multidisciplinary Seeing Ourselves body of work. She also talked openly about the importance of Black History Month (and other similar events) not being diversity and inclusion tick box exercises. Each panelist was insightful and the conversation flowed seamlessly. Sharon and Liberty are planning further collaborations in the near future.
