In November 2023 Sharon Walters received second place at the Mosaic Art Prize.

Ares Management presented the Mosaic Art Award at Hauser and Wirth, culminating with a special presentation of ten works by the shortlisted artists, including Sharon Walters, who won second prize for her cut out work entitled Breathe (2023).

The works presented in the group show ranged from painting and sculpture to photography and video installation. Engaging in a condensed and powerful installation, they all have to do with a fierce desire to bring awareness to what remains misunderstood and overshadowed.
